If your organization has already conducted the GHG emissions inventory and wants an external verification from a climate assurance conformity assessment body, please contact us.
Quantification of the carbon footprint of their products or services allows organizations to identify the best opportunities to reduce their GHG emissions. In general, this occurs through an increase in the efficiency of the production process and a consequent reduction in expenditure on electricity and fossil fuels, which also brings direct economic gains and increased competitiveness to the organization, in addition to adding value to the brand, especially if there is a neutralization of the footprint, all duly verified by an independent body.
As an independent conformity assessment body, and with more than 18 years of experience and specialization in climate assurance, we can competently and quickly verify the carbon footprint of your product according to ISO/TS 14067:2013 or the Accounting and Reporting Standard of the Product Life Cycle 2011 (MRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol).
Contribute to solving the problem of global climate change while reducing operating costs and adding value to your brand. Check your carbon footprint and neutralize if possible. Contact us to learn more about this service.
By using a Renewable Energy Certificate, end-users of energy can make reliable claims about their energy use, such as: our products are made of 100% photovoltaic energy, my factory operates on 100% renewable energy, or our electricity consumption causes zero GHG emissions. Without the use of Renewable Energy Certificates, it would be impossible to make these kinds of reliable claims because electricity is not a tangible product that can be packaged and sent from the producer to the consumer. Renewable Energy Certificates are an instrument that certifies the production of an MWh of electricity along with the characteristics of how, where and when electricity was produced. These units can be negotiated and retired in a transparent manner.
Due to its long experience of validating/verification of hundreds of renewable energy projects, Verifit is able to competently carry out the independent assessment of compliance with protocols for certification of renewable energy credits.
